Full source, self-hosted, AGPL-3.0 — that's the default and it costs nothing. This page is only for teams shipping a modified version who don't want the AGPL's share-back requirement attached to it.

Questions before you buy.

Only if you're distributing a modified version of Aerini and don't want to share those changes back under AGPL-3.0. Personal use, internal tools, and running the stock app all stay free — this page doesn't apply to you.
It removes the AGPL-3.0's source-sharing obligations, including the network-copyleft clause, for the version of Aerini you buy it against — for 0.4, that includes every 0.4.x patch release. You get a perpetual right to distribute a modified build, or run a modified aerini-server as a service, without publishing your changes, as part of one product or service you name at checkout. A new minor or major release (0.5.0, 1.0.0) or an additional product needs its own license. If you're not sure, email us.
No. Support funds development and unlocks extras like plugins and guidance — it isn't a license and doesn't touch AGPL's terms. This page is strictly the legal exception for redistributing modified code. See the Support section on the homepage for that.
Checkout runs through Polar. When payment completes you get an order confirmation and receipt by email, and your license key is issued through the same checkout. That key, plus the details you enter at checkout, is your license certificate, so there is nothing to wait for. Your rights start at payment. Fees are non-refundable except where the law requires or the licensor agrees in writing; refund requests go through Polar under its refund policy. If a payment is reversed or charged back, the license ends automatically. The full license text is available on the license terms page.
